The physicians who are the principals of ProCare™ Research each have over 27 years of clinical experience and more than 100,000 patient encounters.  The tools and systems developed are based on real-world, practical needs of clinicians.  Over the years, we have learned that chronic pain patients differ significantly in how their pain affects their lives and how they respond to treatment.  Traditional imaging, laboratory reports, and taking a history and performing a physical exam provide only part of the clinical picture.  Because pain is an emotional experience, assessing it and following its progress over the course of treatment can be difficult. In order to assess what has previously not been available in traditional medical tests and measures, we have developed a system that adds the voice of the patient to provide a unique multidimensional view of the pain experience that complements the information available from other tests and clinical evaluations.
