The PRISM™ system is designed to stand alone as well as integrate with Practice Management and EHR systems. Our IT specialists work with clients to facilitate optimization of the system to meet each client’s needs.
Practice Management Integration
Integrating PRISM™ with practice management systems allows for increased information to be gathered regarding diagnosis and treatment codes as well as cost of care information. This allows for more specific performance reporting. The timing of sequential Pain Health Assessments can be automated through the practice’s scheduling system.
EHR Integration
When the PRISM™ system is integrated into the practice’s EHR, the clinical outcomes data can become part of the nursing intake process and the medical portion of the visit. Specific treatments, such as consultations, medications, and interventions, can be tracked.
When clinical quality measures are combined with resource utilization and cost of care data, physicians can use this information to work with payers to determine value for the care that is provided. This is extremely important as we move towards the era of value-based healthcare reimbursement.
